ANALYSIS OF THE CAUSES OF INSUFFICIENT AIR COMPRESSOR EXHAUST

During the operation of screw air compressors, users may encounter various issues that can be quite frustrating. Insufficient airflow is one such issue, and the primary causes to check include the air filter, intake valve, solenoid valve, and main unit.

These are the most common causes of insufficient airflow. During operation, screw air compressors often experience a decrease in airflow, leading to insufficient production pressure. What are the specific causes of this pressure drop?

1. The air intake filter of the air compressor is clogged with debris, reducing airflow; the intake pipe is too long or has a small diameter, increasing intake resistance and affecting airflow. Therefore, during operation, the filter should be cleaned regularly.

2. The intake valve is not fully open, resulting in reduced air intake. Replace the intake valve repair kit or install a new intake valve.

3. The solenoid valve controlling the intake valve is malfunctioning, with the solenoid coil burned out. Replace the solenoid valve with a new one.

4. The main motor bearings are worn, causing increased clearance and leakage. Replace the main motor bearings and adjust the clearance.
